Argie Privacy Policy

Overview

Argie provides recruiting tools, including the Argie Chrome extension and web app. These tools help users compare LinkedIn profile facts against job workspace source-of-truth context, identify matching evidence, missing evidence, and location conflicts, and save those results to the user's Argie account.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the product:

• Account information, such as name, email address, company, and login details.
• Authentication information needed to sign users in and protect accounts.
• Job description content provided by users through text, URL, or uploaded files.
• LinkedIn profile content only when a user chooses to evaluate a profile.
• Saved Copilot results, including candidate name, public LinkedIn URL, role evaluated, factual findings, gaps, location fit details, and checklist evidence.
• Credit balance and credit transaction records used to track grants, usage, refunds, purchases, or adjustments.
• Local extension settings, such as selected search, API URL, auth token, evaluation strictness, and last known credit balance.

How We Use Information

We use collected information only to operate Argie features:

• Authenticate users and provide access to their Argie account.
• Create and manage recruiting job workspaces.
• Parse role documents and maintain role source-of-truth context.
• Find factual matches, gaps, and location conflicts between a profile and role context.
• Save results so users can review past Copilot activity in the dashboard.
• Track and display credit balances and credit usage.
• Improve reliability, security, and product functionality.

Chrome Extension Data

The Chrome extension reads LinkedIn profile page content only after the user initiates an evaluation. The extension does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, mouse movement, device location, financial information, health information, or personal communications.

The extension does not execute remote code. All extension JavaScript is packaged with the extension. The extension communicates with the Argie API to authenticate users, load jobs, process evaluations, update credits, and save results.

Sharing And Selling Data

We do not sell user data. We do not transfer user data to third parties for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to Argie's recruiting fact-finding features. We may use trusted service providers only as needed to operate, secure, host, or support Argie.

Data Retention

We retain account information, job workspaces, credit records, and saved Copilot results while the user's account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Users may request deletion of their account data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to limit access to data and protect it against unauthorized use.

Your Choices

Users can choose when to create job workspaces, upload role documents, or evaluate LinkedIn profiles. Users can uninstall the Chrome extension at any time and can request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting Argie.
